The museum’s ground floor and first floor galleries are accessible, and include a platform lift and two accessible toilets. The Cafe and patio in the Garden is also accessible through a ramp.
The second floor is accessible through stairs only, but a virtual tour is available to visitors.
Quiet days
Exclusively for visitors with Special Education Needs and Disabilities and their families and carers, Whitehall is now open outside of regular hours on special ‘quiet days’. Enjoy exclusive use of the museum and explore at your own pace, free from the general public. For more information email whitehallmuseum@sutton.gov.uk
Sensory Sacks
Our sensory sacks include ear defenders, fidget toys, a spotters’ guide and puppets. These are designed to support the experience of visitors with sensory needs; available to borrow free of charge from the museum’s front desk.
